On December 15, Warner Music Group announced it had invested in and partnered with the digital fashion retailer DressX. This unique partnership will enable select WMG artists to design their own virtual fashion lines for fans to collect. That said, let’s get into the details.

Through the partnership, artists will be able to collaborate with DressX to design and release 3D and AR virtual clothing. Further, fans will have the ability to collect and showcase them on social media platforms like Snapchat and Instagram. Moreover, this deal gives artists the opportunity to reap the rewards of new revenue streams. It also lets them give their fans something memorable for them to share online and in the metaverse.
