Wally Sajimi -x- Azuki – What Does It Mean For The NFT Brand?

Wally Sajimi will lead creative partnerships for the innovative web3 brand moving forward. In the role, Wally will creatively ideate on partnership opportunities and brand collaborations. Moreover, with his intensive experience, Wally can help recruit designers and creatives to Azuki, and help with creative brainstorms. The announcement follows the news of Azuki’s successful partnership with AMBUSH and Oracle Red Bull Racing. Azuki is the first ever NFT brand to be featured in Formula 1.

Furthermore, Wally has an impressive track record and his reputation as a brand builder is elite. The Forbes 2021 30 Under 30 entrepreneur is also the co-founder of Solana based social media minting app ‘Minti’ (currently in process of acquisition with Collab Asia), and the co-founder of Endorsify (acquired by HerCampus in 2020). In addition, he has also worked at United Bank of Switzerland and Salesforce.

At a time when the Web3 community undergoes a transitional phase, new projects and collaborations such as this are the need of the hour. Creative minds coming together to explore diverse directions will take the culture to new heights. Azuki are currently going through a pivotal growth stage. Wally has stated his excitement to join Azuki owing to it being one of the only web3 companies to merge the physical and digital worlds with new technology.

Recently, Azuki launched its PBT (Physical Backed Token), a new way to experience NFTs fusing the digital and physical realms. The opportunities arising out of this collaboration are endless. Tracking physical products in the secondary market or ensuring authenticity is just the start. “Wally’s experience brings a unique creative outlook to Azuki. As a technology creative, he’s worked with some of the top streetwear and fashion brands, and we are excited to collaborate with Wally,” said Azuki founder Zagabond, in a statement.
