What is the Voice Residency programme?

The Voice Residency programme, in partnership with PhotoVogue, focuses on empowering the voices of underrepresented and marginalised communities. It aims to amplify the storytelling power and photography and spotlight diverse artists from all over the globe.

To clarify, the NFT residency was a one-month virtual experience. During this residency programme, Voice helped PhotoVogue’s portfolio of photographers learn how to successfully navigate Web3. The artists participated in digital workshops and mentorship sessions that helped them understand NFT photography.

Speaking on NFT photography, Alessia Glaviano, Head of Global PhotoVogue, said: “Every day we hear someone saying that photography is dying. Well, I’m convinced that instead, photography is very much alive, and although it is acquiring new functions and meaning, its power and magic will never cease to exist. NFTs and blockchain potentially present a whole new world for all this magic to unfold and for the photographers to express themselves.”

The PhotoVogue Residency collection is available on Voice. This latest NFT Residency Programme from Voice follows the first few programmes, which included notable names such as Azu Nwagbogu, Kimberly Drew and Chad Knight.
