Who is Ria Bhutoria?
In 2011, Bhutoria graduated from the NYU Stern School of Business.
Prior to joining Fidelity Investments, one of the world’s largest and oldest mutual funds with a long history of investing in innovative research, in October 2019, Bhutoria served as a senior research analyst at payments company Circle after spending three years at Credit Suisse as an equity research analyst.
Bhutoria was the company’s Director of Research, responsible for developing and overseeing Fidelity’s Investment research.

This included helping discover new opportunities, researching market trends, and giving recommendations to the company’s management team.
She also played a pivotal role in developing a strategy for the company’s asset allocation policies and helped clients make informed investment decisions.
Bhutoria then joined Castle Island Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm exclusively focused on public blockchains, in 2021 as a Principle before being promoted to Partner in February 2022.

The founders of Castle Island Ventures, Matt Walsh and Nic Carter, were no doubt looking to reap the benefit of Bhutoria’s experience at Fidelity in bridging blockchain and crypto with institutional finance.
Bhutoria is very active on social media and has said Lyn Alden Schwartzer, an up-and-coming investment strategist in the crypto sphere her “favorite Bitcoin bull.”
