University of Liverpool’s Success with IES Digital Twin

The University of Liverpool has piloted a digital twin developed by IES, a digital twin development company.

IES Live, the digital twin, is a collaborative effort between the University of Liverpool and IES, a digital twin development company. This partnership was formed with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) within the university. The digital twin, a product of this collaboration, allows stakeholders to monitor performance and efficiency.

Implementing the digital twin has been effective across the board, resulting in a 23% reduction in energy consumption and around 25,000 work savings in operational costs.
