World Liberty Financial is taking legal action against the TRUMP memecoin team over the TRUMP wallet announcement.
Just one day after the controversial TRUMP wallet announcement, World Liberty Financial (WLFI) is taking legal action against FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT LLC, the company behind the TRUMP memecoin and TRUMP wallet.
Bloomberg reports that WLFI, which the Trump family is heavily involved in, sent a formal cease and desist letter to FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT LLC, which is run by the president’s longtime friend, Bill Zanker.
The letter remains private, and is said to specifically address the TRUMP wallet, but does not target the TRUMP memecoin itself.
TRUMP plummeted on the news, falling from $10.55 to as low as $9.8.
Magic Eden’s ME token is also taking a hit, and is down 9.2% today. ME is now down 84% from its opening day price of $5.63.
