Tim Draper’s Venture Network Launches the “Draper Round Table” for Web3 Syndication

Tim Draper’s venture network has launched a web3 syndication vehicle that allows new investors to join the Draper Ecosystem, enabling them to become eligible to invest alongside the Draper Venture Network.

Dubbed the “Draper Round Table” the vehicle will allow different types of investors to join the network, including family offices, corporate venture capitalists, angel investors and other individual VCs to reflect the changing and diverse landscape of web3 venture investing.

Those looking to become members of the Draper Round Table can do so through the Draper Decentralized (DraperX) platform.

The Draper Round Table allows investors to share and syndicate alongside each other. According to the announcement on Wednesday, NBA All-Star Baron Davis and LunarCrush CEO Joe Vezzani are joining the round table as Venture Partners.

Commenting on the launch, Tim Draper, Chairman of the Draper Round Table said: “The world of investing is changing rapidly. We are expanding access for investors so that the best entrepreneurs, wherever they are, can get funded.”

On the other hand, Sid Mofya, Executive Director of the Draper Network and co-founder of the Draper Round Table commented: “We are excited to finally be launching the Draper Round Table after working on it in the background for over a year. We believe it will play a significant role in getting quality Web3 companies funded, and thoughtfully introducing new investors to the space.”

The Draper Round Table will hold events that will allow its members to evaluate and promote web3 startups to its community. Members will also be able to interact with each other through Zoom calls and lectures, among other channels.

LunarCrush’s Joe Vezzani, who is among other earliest investors to join the Draper Round Table will be bringing a wealth of experience from the crypto industry. Vezzani founded the social intelligence platform for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and crypto in 2018 with a mission to make people better investors.

On the other hand, Two-time NBA All-Star, serial entrepreneur, investor, and creator, Baron Davis commented: “I’m excited to be a part of the Draper Round Table and Draper Network.
