Who is Scott Melker?

Scott Melker graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1999 with a BA in Anthropology.

Melker became known as The Melker Project after having a 20-year music career as a producer and DJ.

He toured around the globe playing festivals such as Beyond the Valley in Australia, working alongside industry greats including Snoop Dogg, Enrique Iglesias, Wiz Khalifa, Kanye West, Rihanna and more.

He had more than 30 million streams on SoundCloud during his career.

But in 2016 Melker left the music industry and moved into the cryptocurrency space.

He has since grown an online Twitter following of more than 800,000 people, making him one of the biggest influencers in the industry.

Melker said: “Learning about Bitcoin sent me down a rabbit hole to better understand the problems with fiat money and the legacy financial system.”
