Space Misfits, the 3D immersive blockchain game that has impressive play-to-earn features is launching its IGO. The IGO will take place on the Seedify and Trustpad on January 15th and on Enjinstarter and PaidIgnition on the 17th.
The Space Misfits Tokens
The game has two native tokens that can be used by its players, BITS and SMCW. All game fees and purchases can be financed using the game’s native tokens, BITS and SMCW.
SMCW is the governance token of the game. It can be earned via staking, participating in game tournaments and events, NPC drops, faction powerplays, and completing missions. Later, you will also be able to buy it on DEXs. For long-term investors and those who intend to spend a lot of time on the platform, it is advised to purchase SMCW. Holding the token will give them the power to influence what happens on the platform. Plus, over time, they are likely to become more valuable than BITS since there will be far fewer of them issued than the BITS.
BITS is the second token that can be used to purchase NFTs, games assets, minerals, and pay game fees. It can be earned and collected by the platform’s players when they participate in the game (e.g., daily missions, completing tasks). This token can also be bought on DEXs.
Space Misfits Tokenomics
SMCW is expected to be a rare token because only 3% will be available for sale during the IGO. Moreover, a large number of tokens are being held back for players to earn in the game. In addition, a significant amount, 20%, will be retained by the treasury to fund the game’s operations. Finally, this game shows great promise of becoming one of the best investments in 2022. The most favorable sign is that a significant but not majority share of tokens have been allocated to the advisors (6%) and to its creator, James Stem Studio (15%).
