Decentralized metaverse platform The Sandbox announced the upcoming release of voxel avatars featuring Gordon Ramsay, world-renowned chef and star of the television series Hell’s Kitchen.
The drop features 2,333 playable NFTs inspired by Chef’s style. According to the official announcement, the limited-edition collection was co-created in collaboration with Gordon Ramsay himself.
Hell’s Kitchen NFTs will feature Chef’s signature looks that will allow holders to customize their avatars. Overall, the collection features 12 unique trait combinations divided into four rarity tiers. So, users will be able to create avatars that best represent their culinary style by adding iconic outfits and Ramsay’s courses.

The minting starts on March 14 at 3 PM CET on The Sandbox’s website. Notably, holders of other The Sandbox’s NFT collections will get access to the whitelist and will be able to mint Hell’s Kitchen collection on March 13. One NFT will go for 100 $SAND, approximately $52 at the moment of writing.
The tokens will grant holders access to special challenges, events, and exclusive recipes. In addition, Ramsay avatar holders will have a chance to participate in The Sandbox’s Hell’s Kitchen event and earn $SAND while playing. The experience will take place on March 20.
It’s worth noting that this is not Ramsay’s first step into the metaverse. A virtual version of Hell’s Kitchen was first added to The Sandbox platform in August 2022. The experience enabled users to participate in metaverse cooking-themed games, collect recipes, and create dishes. The upcoming avatar release will make the cooking show even more full and playable in the metaverse.
