Streetwear brand The Hundreds partners with multichain open editions launchpad Holograph for an NFT collection.
The companies have created graphics to honor the first anniversary of the fake protest that The Hundreds staged on June 20, 2022, in New York City. The event was covered by numerous media and quickly became viral on social media platforms. Today, thanks to The Hundreds and Holograph, individuals can purchase a piece of the protest memorabilia.
Dubbed “SIGNS,” the collection includes 15 non-fungible token artworks. Each features a protest-like slogan, such as “God Says You’re NGMI” or “The End Is NFTs.” The open-edition collection is available to mint across Ethereum, Avalanche, Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum, and BNB Chain. The minting will be live on Holograph’s platform through June 23, 9 AM PDT. Individuals can purchase one non-fungible token for $10.
The “protest” posters have also been spotted in the streets of Los Angeles, where the brand was established in 2003.
Apart from the streetwear garments, The Hundreds is known for its innovative approach and original web3 projects. The company has recently launched an immersive metaverse experience to celebrate its 20th birthday. The brand re-created its Fairfax store using Unreal Engine 5. The virtual experience allows users to shop and socialize with other visitors. The Beta access to the platform was initially available to Adam Bomb Squad, Badam Bomb Squad, and some.place NFT holders, who could also access the resurrected interpretations of The Hundreds Santa Monica, The Hundreds New York, and The Hundreds San Francisco.
The brand has also previously released two non-fungible token collections. The first one, dubbed “Adam Bomb Squad,” went live in August 2021. The drop included 25,000 digital artworks featuring the iconic Adam Bomb character. The second collection was released in November 2022. It includes 5,000 generative artworks with the brand’s “mascot.”
