Just in time for the spooky season, popular DJ Steve Aoki has teamed up with the NFT collection Deadfellaz for a limited-edition drop. This drop will see several articles of clothing and accessories released with the theme of the undead.
This is not the first time that Aoki and Deadfellaz are teaming up. The DJ has previously performed at one of their events and the collection even created an NFT character after him called Aoki-fella.
This new collection will be called Deadfellaz x Dim Mak and will include varsity jackets, skate decks, and so on. These will be designed by Deadfellaz co-founders Betty and Psych and will also have an ultra-rare varsity jacket that has its own Metaverse-based equivalent. The collection will be shown to the public at this year’s Deadfellaz Halloween party on October 29, 2022.
Aoki is known for being very enthusiastic about technology and this was a contributing factor to his ongoing relationship with the collection and its founders.
“NFTs and Web3 are the future. It has been such an adventure to create alongside pioneers such as Betty and Psych of the Deadfellaz Horde. Deadfellaz is an incredible project and a community that I am proud to also be a part of,” stated Aoki.
