Sorare Adds UEFA Europa Conference League - Play to Earn

Sorare has added the third European club competition, the UEFA Europa Conference League, to their NFT-powered fantasy football game. However, the team is dependent on acquired data from third parties, and therefore it’s possible that not all matches will be included.

Sorare already covers the Champions League and the Europa League, making the Conference League the third tier league for European club football. At this moment renowned clubs like Feyenoord, Rosenborg, Hajduk Split, and FC Basel take part in the qualification rounds.

The addition of the Conference League is the latest in a line of updates for Sorare. Recently the fantasy football game includes national teams, while Sorare also overhauled the way players earn prizes. The participants a league has, the more prizes there will be. The biggest change: the game is now running on a custom layer-2 solution, offering fast and free NFT transactions.

How to play Sorare

You can play Sorare for free, but that takes away lots of the excitement to be fair. You need to purchase collectible player cards, and the players on these cards will become your team. Each game week you select the players, each represented by an NFT card, of which you think they will perform best.

For every game week managers will need to select a team from the player card collection. They will need one goalkeeper, one defender, one midfielder, one attacker and an extra field player. Players earn points based on the real-life performance of those players. Therefore players that play regularly, are active in winning team, hardly make mistakes, and score a lot of goals, are generally valuable. Each card can only be used once during a game week, but if you have enough cards you can join in multiple leagues.
