S.T. Dupont Launches New Lighters With Bold Style

The newest lighters from S.T. Dupont combine elegance with a bit of an edge. The S.T. Dupont Defi XXtreme Artisan Collection offers two distinct designs, Casino Poker and Skull and Roses, each with a yellow or white hand-engraved brass case finish. The lighters are part of Dupont’s Defi XXtreme lighter series, and are limited to just 288 pieces worldwide. 

This collection was designed and made in France by the S.T. Dupont Haute Creation Team alongside Solyfonte, a French company that specializes in creating art pieces from brass, bronze and silver for luxury items. 

Each version of the lighter is covered and protected with a finely sculpted, brass bumper that features the most minute details as it pertains to the given design. The Casino Poker lighter features each of the red and black card suits, accompanied by a relevant, engraved caricature in each corner. Beyond just protecting the lighter and offering a beautiful aesthetic, the bumper helps you grip the lighter, making these accessories easy to hold and operate.   

The Defi XXtreme lighters are built to withstand extreme winds via their powerful, double torch flames that’ll help ensure efficient lighting in most conditions. The lighters are also capable of working at high altitudes and can endure extreme temperatures, from well-below freezing to scorching-hot climates. 

This collection is usually made-to-order with a lead time of four months, however, limited quantities are available for immediate delivery. The Skull and Rose yellow and white brass finishes are each expected to retail for $1,495. Whereas the Casino Poker yellow and white brass finishes come with an expected retail price of $1,595 apiece.
