Entrepreneur and DJ Paris Hilton’s company 11:11 Media launches a collection of avatar wearables in partnership with NFT marketplace Genies.
The wearables collection is inspired by the it-girl’s OG 2000s tracksuit era and, of course, the color pink. It includes 300 Paparazzi Pants, 300 “socialite Zip-Ups,” 11 BPM Headphones, 100 “Strut Sneakers,” and 400 “Eyes On Me Shades.” The prices range from $5 for the sunglasses to $111 for the limited-edition headphones.
“I want my fans to look iconic in the metaverse too,”
tweeted Paris Hilton about the collection.
The collection is already live on the Genies marketplace, and digital fashionistas can dress their avatars using the startup’s application.
On a side note, in August this year, Genies launched “The Warehouse,” where users can create and sell customized fashion items. Several well-known artists and singers have already created their avatar collections with Genies, including Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Cardi B, and Shawn Mendes.
Paris Hilton is not new to the web3 space. In April 2021, the celebrity released her first NFT collection of three dreamy artworks. One of the artworks, dubbed “Iconic Crypto Queen,” was sold for a record $1.1 million on the NFT marketplace Nifty Getaway.
Paris also partnered with the Los Angeles County Museum of Art to launch a fund that supports female artists in the digital art space. She then joined The Sandbox and Roblox metaverses. Players have a chance to visit Paris’ virtual mansion and dance to her avatar’s DJ sets.
