MakersPlace, in partnership with SFNFT & Infinite Reality, presents “Warholics” by Moriartsy and veteran photographer Marshall Swerman in their special collaborative Andy Warhol exhibition featuring surreal animated NFT pop art paintings inspired by the never-before-seen iconic photographs of Andy Warhol in his NYC studio in 1968.
Moriartsy
Moriartsy combines 20+ years’ experience as a Creative Director with wry humor and a playful obsession with pop icons. The artist aims to release one new pop-surrealist motion-painting per day for 365 days.
Moriartsy has been featured at the world’s largest digital art conferences and marketplaces, including the Stratosphere DAO NFT Show in Beijing, China — the largest NFT show in the world — and aboard Space X’s Inspiration 4, where Dr. Sian Proctor took her art and Moriartsy’s piece “Child of Earth” to space with her in a special auction whose proceeds went to St. Jude’s Cancer Research.
“Child of Earth” was also featured at Art Basel in Miami and was the centerpiece of The Sagamore Hotel in Miami.
During Miami Art Week, Moriartsy’s other works were featured at Art Basel & Bit Basel and won Best in Show in three categories:
- “Balance” for the Justice & Peace Award
- “Heroes Are Those Who Make Peace and Build” (Nelson Mandela Portrait) for Equality & Inclusion Award
- “Astro Chef Extraordinaire” (Dr. Sian Proctor Portrait) for Future & Prosperity Award.
