Highlights from the 2nd Annual Metaverse Summit

As the curtains close on the 2nd Annual Metaverse Summit, it’s safe to say that this year’s event has surpassed all expectations, earning the title of the best Economist Metaverse Summit to date. Attendees were treated to high-quality networking opportunities, exclusive product demonstrations, and thought-provoking discussions that pushed the boundaries of what we know as the Metaverse landscape.

One of the standout highlights was the official launch and hands-on experience with the highly-anticipated Meta Quest 3. Released today, this headset lived up to the hype, solidifying its place as a mainstream mixed reality headset. The device dazzled attendees with its cutting-edge features, especially its impressive pass-through technology.

The summit provided a unique opportunity for in-depth discussions with industry leaders. Team members from Siemens and NVIDIA shared their insights and vision for the industrial metaverse. The industrial applications of the Metaverse are poised for a full industry  transformation, and these interviews shed light on how these tech giants are contributing to this transformation. Metaverse Insider actively contributed to the summit by hosting panel discussions and assisting The Economist in chairing their sessions. These sessions were graced by key speakers from companies such as Meta, where they offered valuable insights into the policy implications of the metaverse.
