Hex Trust Adds Blockchain Gaming Specialist to Board

Crypto custodian Hex Trust has announced the addition of a blockchain gaming specialist to its board of directors.

Mark Cheng joins Hex Trust’s board of directors, according to a statement, to provide experience, knowledge and network in digital assets, investments and GameFI – the intersection between gaming and finance. 

Prior to joining Hex Trust, Cheng was a senior advisor at Animoca Brands and a founding partner at GameFi Ventures, a venture capital firm with a focus on blockchain games. Previously, Cheng spent eight years as a partner and chief operating officer at Mind Fund, a venture capital firm backing early-stage startups.

«I’ve followed Hex Trust’s impressive progress and been an investor in the company for several years now, so it’s a pleasure to officially join the board of directors to support the company during its next phase of growth,» Cheng said. «I see tremendous opportunities for Hex Trust to integrate with GameFi, which will open up opportunities for the sector to access fully licensed digital asset custody with connectivity to financial services.»

Hex Trust is a provider of custody services for digital assets in Asia with offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, Italy and Vietnam.
