Fractal Allows Buying Cryptocurrency Using Traditional Payment Methods

On December 1, 2022, Fractal extended its support to buy cryptocurrency using traditional payment methods with Fractal Wallet. For that, Fractal has partnered with Stripe to bring you the most seamless and secure crypto buying experience. In August, the company also launched the ability for players to purchase NFT via credit cards.

Regarding the transaction limit, You can purchase up to $1,000 of crypto per week. Meanwhile, Fractal is working with Stripe to increase the weekly limit in the near future. A processing fee will be charged from 1.00 to 3.50% to process blockchain transactions based on the transaction amount and payment method. There will be a fixed 2% conversion fee and a gas fee. 

If you want the cheapest fees, use ACH or a Debit card. Based on the purchase amount, KYC requirements will vary. The process will be performed once per account, so subsequent purchases will be a 1-click operation for the rest of the week.

Fractal Eases Web3 Onboarding

There will be more and more web3 gaming in the future. Fractal builds user-friendly products for gamers on the blockchain so they can easily onboard into web3 games. Adding the feature of making purchases in Fractal Wallet (aka Sign in with Fractal) with Credit Cards, Debit Cards, and ACH would help players to navigate the first step in their web3 game onboarding journey.

Now there is no need to visit exchanges like Coinbase to purchase cryptos again. To use the Fractal wallet system, log in, then choose the type and amount of cryptocurrency you wish to purchase. Confirm your identity, and your wallet will be topped up instantly. Your account allows you to save your information, so your next purchase will be effortless. All Link accounts use Stripe as their payment processor.

Moreover, Fractal will continue to work with Stripe to expand the number of cryptocurrencies you can buy, the regions you can buy from, and the weekly transaction limit in the coming months. Currently, traditional payment methods are only available to US residents, excluding residents of Hawaii. Additionally, residents of New York will only be able to purchase USDC (ETH) and ETH.
