The prices on Thursday, continued to remain in the green, as top cryptocurrencies witnessed growth. On 1 December the global crypto market cap advanced by 1.19 percent to $862.00B. However, the total crypto market volume was down by 0.86 percent to $48.12B, in the last 24 hours. The value of Bitcoin increased by 1.64 percent to $17,158.26 after trading below $17,000 the previous month.
The value of Ethereum also surged by 1.70 percent to $1,288.93, as compared to its yesterday’s value of $1,268.19. The current surge of Ether indicates a rise in its demand lately. As of (0930 IST), Solana rose by 2.65 percent to trade at $13.95, as per CoinMarketCap. Other cryptocurrencies such as Tether increased by 0.03 percent to $1.00, and BNB rose by 0.10 percent to $297.92. XRP gained 0.24 percent to $0.402657. Contrastingly, USD coin is down by 0.01 percent at $1.00.
Top gainers include GMX, Polygon, ZCash, and Quant, with current growth rates of 13.49 percent, 7.59 percent, 5.55 percent, and 5.18 percent, respectively. On the other side, Ape Coin, Helium, Fantom, and BinaryX were among the top losers.
Dogecoin slipped, overall meme coins declined
The overall value of meme coins declined 0.15 percent over the last day to $0.022959. Shiba Inu saw a 0.51 percent boost in value to $0.000009, Dogecoin was down by 1.87 percent to $0.104664, and Dogelon Mars gained 5.63 percent to $3.24e-7.
Metaverse tokens remained up
Trending metaverse token, Decentraland gained 1.60 percent to trade at $0.409714. Axie Infinity stood at $6.95 and noticed a $1.46 percent surge in its value. Sandbox registered an increase of 1.73 percent to $0.586582.
