Crypto prices today: Bitcoin plunges 4.02%, Solana, Ethereum, and BNB fall

Top cryptocurrencies fell this morning, with Bitcoin, Solana, Ethereum, and Dogecoin each down by 4%, 8.74%, 7.79%, and 10.98%, respectively.

By Nidhi Bhardwaj: With major cryptocurrencies trading in the red this morning, the global market cap declined by 5.12 percent to $793.13B, while its overall volume increased by 70.45 percent to $56.93B. The price of Bitcoin is down by 4.02 percent to $16018.65, which indicates a low from $16712.73, as per its yesterday’s value, and an overall reduction from $6008.91 one year ago.

Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency, is down 7.79 percent to $1,123.17,according to CoinMarketCap, and Solana is down 8.74 percent to $11.77. The price of FTX tokens dropped by 13.94 percent to $1.30 amid the latest FTX bankruptcy court protection.

BNB’s value lowered by 5.18 percent to $259.17 at the time of writing (09:30 IST), and the values of other coins such as XRP and Cardano also decreased. XRP’s value fell by 9.59 percent to $0.354452, and Cardano’s value fell by 7.13 percent to $0.305591, respectively.

With current growth rates of 2.09 percent, 0.12 percent, 0.07 percent, and 0.02 percent, respectively, Unus Sed Leo, Pax Gold, Binance USD, and USD Coin are among the top gainers. On the other hand, the top losers included Chilliz, Ethereum POW, Algorand, and Near Protocol.

Top meme coins traded low

Over the past 24 hours, the entire value of meme coins has decreased by 9.31 percent to $0.020117. Shiba Inu’s value decreased by 5.85 percent to $0.000009, while Dogecoin’s price is currently down 10.98 percent from yesterday’s price and 66.88 percent from one year ago. Dogecoin is currently trading at $0.075797.

Metaverse token prices decreased

The value of Metaverse ETP is down by 1.33 percent to $0.023510. Another top Metaverse token, Decentraland, registered a decrease of 10.77 percent to $0.374075.
