By Nidhi Bhardwaj: The global crypto market cap decreased by 2.35 percent to $830 billion and remained below the $1 trillion mark, with its volume down by 3 percent in the last 24 hours. Bitcoin’s price fell further over the weekend and was trading 2 percent lower at $16,536 as per CoinMarketCap.
On the other hand, the second largest cryptocurrency, Ethereum, fell by 4.64 percent to trade at $1,200.70, followed by a decrease in Solana by 1.87 percent to $14.23. After the latest news of FTX being hacked, top cryptocurrencies witnessed a fall, which marks the continuous lows of FTX tokens by 8.76 percent to $1.60 over the last day’s records. At the time of writing (0930 IST), Tether is up by 0.03 percent to $0.999401.
Meanwhile, BNB is down by 4.45 percent to $266.79, along with lows in BUSD of 0.13 percent to $0.999622, and XRP fell by 2.94 percent to $0.372685.
Top gainers include Trust Wallet Token, Chain, Ton Coin, and UNUS SED LEO, with current growth rates of 13.02 percent, 2.55 percent, 2.18 percent, and 1.56 percent, respectively. Oppositely, Curve Down Token, Loopring, Algorand, and GMX were among the top losers.
Top meme coins’ value down
The overall value of meme coins is up 1.81 percent to $0.021307 over the last 24 hours. Dogecoin is trading at $0.084284, with its current value down by 3.93 percent, while the value of Shiba Inu decreased by 2.86 percent to $0.000009.
Metaverse token prices
The value of Metaverse ETP grew by 1.80 percent to $0.023720. Another top Metaverse token, Decentraland, registered a decrease of 7.26 percent to $0.443459.
