Cool Cats Group, the web3 company behind the Cool Cats NFT collection, has entered a strategic partnership with the metaverse infrastructure and content provider Futureverse.
The partnership aims to incorporate Futureverse’s technology with the Cool Cats brand to enhance the utility of Cool Cats NFT holders. Among the upcoming products are a personalized internal Web3 portal and marketplace, a “virtual metaspace” experience for 3D Cool Cats, AI tools for creating Cool Cats content, and other features.
The partnership will also entail an exchange of minority equity interests between Cool Cats and Futureverse. Additionally, Ken Cron, the Chairman of Cool Cats, will be added to the Futureverse Board of Directors, while Futureverse co-founders Aaron McDonald and Shara Senderoff will join the Cool Cats Board.
“With Cool Cats leading the charge in creating compelling content that resonates with the Web3 community and beyond, Futureverse unlocking new technological advancements in metaverse infrastructure, including AI and digital wearables, and our recent strategic partnership with Animoca providing expertise in delivering top-notch gaming experiences, we’ve established a trifecta for future success,” said Stephen Teglas, CEO of Cool Cats.
Following February’s unveiling of its new identity as Cool Cats focuses on building a global brand, the partnership with Futureverse opens up an expansive network of potential entertainment collaborators for the Cool Cats universe, from film to music to lifestyle and sport. The star-studded list of Futureverse’s current partners includes FIFA, Authentic Brands Group, Weta Workshop, Snoop Dogg, Timbaland, Keanu Reeves, and Alexandra Grant.
Leaders from both Cool Cats and Futureverse will be having a Twitter Spaces conversation at 4pm ET / 1pm PT today.
