Why Is The Sewer Pass Mint Delayed?

As we previously covered, the new BAYC minting experience “Dookey Dash” requires a Sewer Pass to unlock a special gameplay mint experience. The Sewer Passes were to run from 17th January up until February 8th. Yesterday, the official BAYC twitter announced a delay to open the Sewer Pass claim. According to the tweet, the BAYC team “ran into some unexpected bumps”, and want to make sure they get it right for the players. The account states that they will mention the time of access soon.

As of now, no statement is made regarding the details for delay. The NFT brand ensures that every BAYC/MAYC holder has the opportunity to claim a Sewer Pass during the claiming period. Moreover, Dookey Dash game will still begin 24 hours after the Sewer Passes claim, as promised earlier.

This announcement arrives pretty last moment, though. Just a few hours before the delay, BAYC sent tweets to rally the Apes for the fun experience.
