Blankos Block Party becomes the first Web3 game on Epic Games Store

After its announcement, Blankos Block Party officially took place on the Epic Games Store. The game will be available on September 28 and already has a large user base.

The company gained recognition by many segments with the NFL Rivals game. According to the game’s website roadmap, before NFL Rivals, which will be released in 2023, Mythical Games received a $150 million investment with a valuation of $1.25 billion by Andreessen Horowitz.

The game is already open to early access downloads as free-to-play, which means Epic Games is getting its first Web3 game. Mythical Games CEO John Linden said the following in an interview with GamesBeat:

“It’s been a long time coming. We’ve been working for years to get some of these networks to start. We spent over a year with Epic working through this.”

The game, which has its unique art design and elements, will be a party game based on collecting and customizing the characters called Blankos. You will be able to collect and sell the characters in the game, which adopts the play-and-earn system.

The game announced it reached a new milestone with 1 million accounts in June. In addition, the company announced that many other projects are on the way.
