Top cryptocurrencies suffered in value this morning, while the overall crypto market increased by 25.50%.
Bitcoin, Ethereum, & Solana dip, even Dogecoin & metaverse tokens drop

The global crypto market cap fell by 1.95 percent to $840.07B, in contrast with the total crypto market volume increase of 25.50 percent to $29.91B. The price of Bitcoin stood at $16,918.04, to notice a 1.44 percent decrease from the last 24 hours, and down from its previous week’s $17,000 mark. Moreover, the current level of this largest currency, Bitcoin, in terms of trading value is down from $49242.30 one year ago, with a 65.27 percent plunge.
In India, the crypto market crashed this year, with top currencies witnessing a price fall. Along with Bitcoin, Ethereum also registered a loss in its value by 2.06 percent to trade at $1,246.59. With the plunge in the value of other top currencies such as Solana with 4.69 percent to trade at 12.99 percent, BNB at $282.24, with its value down by 2.83 percent, the crypto market seems bearish. This downfall is further encountered in XRP’s value with a 3.26 percent decline, and Cardano at 3.23 percent to $0.303281.
As of (0930 IST), top gainers include Stacks, Trust Wallet Token, Toncoin, and GMX with current growth rates of 7.68 percent, 4.04 percent, 7.66 percent, and 2.88 percent, respectively. On the other hand, Osmosis, Dogecoin, Flow, and Chiliz were among the top losers.
Meme coins’ value sinks
As per CoinMarketCap, the value of meme coins remained down. This morning, Shiba Inu fell by 4.31 percent to $0.000009. The value of Dogecoin suffered by 9.10 percent to $0.088022. And the price of Meme Coin was down by 0.71 percent to $0.021896, followed by a decrease in the value of Dogelon Mars by 5.55 percent to $3.27e-7.
Metaverse Tokens remain low
The metaverse tokens also witnessed a decrease in value in the last 24 hours. The value of one of the top metaverse tokens, Decentraland, decreased by 5.79 percent to $0.377881, along with an Axie Infinity drop of 7.13 percent to $7.66. Additionally, Sandbox also sank by 5.38 percent to $0.553630.
