A Bayonne man was sentenced to nearly two years in federal prison Tuesday for conspiring to steal more than $500,000 in crytocurrency from accounts on a cryptocurrency exchange platform, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger said. Ebrahem Adeeb, 20, previously pleaded guilty by videoconference before U.S. District Judge Claire C. Cecchi to conspiring to commit wire fraud.
