ASUS has introduced The Vivobook Pro 16X 3D OLED, which offers an impressive glasses-free 3D display, at CES 2023. The Taiwanese computer hardware company claims that the versatile and powerful laptop is one of the first to feature glassless ASUS Spatial Vision 3D visualization technology.
There’s high demand for 3D creators, including game developers, 3D renderers, product designers, VFX artists, animators, architects, and many others. The most advanced ASUS Spatial Vision technology can accelerate the workflow for 3D specialists and help creators who strive for an innovative way to visualize their projects.
ASUS Spatial Vision uses a special 3D OLED panel and eye-tracking technology to allow viewing work in 3D without the need for glasses. By enabling ASUS Spatial Vision, a set of images is created for each eye using real-time eye tracking. Then, a microscopic layer of lenticular lenses, built into the display panel, directly projects these images creating the 3D effect.
“Since the display is an OLED panel with supremely low pixel transition times and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, the 3D images are clear and convincing. Unlike past 3D display solutions, there are no drawbacks to this additional layer during ordinary usage. When you toggle 2D mode on the Vivobook Pro 16X 3D OLED, you’ll get the same great experience you expect from a high-end OLED display,”
Edge Up Asus explained.
The Vivobook Pro 16X 3D OLED also has a 6-inch display and a 16:10 aspect ratio for extra space in the vertical dimension. In addition, the 3.2K resolution brings out details, the 120Hz refresh rate offers seamless animation, and the display has exceptional color performance.
For those who don’t find glasses-free 3D visualizations vital, ASUS recommends the Vivobook Pro 16X OLED, as the two laptops are very similar.
ASUS introduced several other products at CES, the largest global tech event, including the ProArt Studiobook 16 3D OLED, ProArt Display OLED PA32DCM, Zenbook Pro 16X OLED, Zenbook Pro 14 OLED, and more.
