A curious calm hangs over cryptocurrency markets despite recent shocks

By Darren Parkin The prices of Bitcoin and Ethereum haven’t changed much since yesterday, with both cryptocurrencies in the green by less than a percentage point. Bitcoin is trading for $16,805 this morning, while Ethereum is at $1,260. Other third-gen cryptocurrencies – Solana, Cardano and Uniswap among them – have also been trading flat in the green this morning, a welcome respite from the volatility seen in the last week.
