Flare Network Leverages LayerZero to Connect with 75 Blockchains

Data-focused blockchain Flare has integrated with the cross-chain messaging platform LayerZero to offer decentralized data across 75 blockchains, including Ethereum and Solana.

Users will now be able to use the data available on the 50,000 dApps that Flare hosts across a variety of ecosystems.

The opportunity for Flare to serve as a highly secure DVN on LayerZero V2 is of particular interest.”

Although Flare shows a meager $9 million in total value locked (TVL) on DefiLlama, the network has enjoyed a significant increase in usage since September 2023, when TVL hovered around $40,000.

The network’s FLR token is down 12% in the last week and trades at a $930 million market capitalization.
