Blockchain.com and TON Team Up to Bring Toncoin to Telegram

• The Open Network Foundation has partnered with Blockchain.com to enable retailers to buy, sell, and trade cryptocurrency worldwide.
• Over 800 million monthly active Telegram users will gain easy access to cryptocurrencies starting next month.

The Open Network Foundation (TON) is collaborating with Blockchain.com to offer the buying, selling, and trading of cryptocurrencies for retail and institutional investors. The non-profit Swiss organization, and Blockchain.com, one of the world’s most trusted and popular platforms, will give the over 800 million monthly active users on Telegram easy access to cryptocurrencies.

Starting November 2023, all Telegram users, exempting the United States, will be able to access their wallets directly from the default Telegram menu. This will give millions of users a seamless experience of owning cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, and Ton Coin. According to the announcement, trading these coins will be as easy as texting on the platform.

In addition, Toncoin will also be available in Blockchain.com’s 90 million wallets across the globe to facilitate easy onboarding and off-ramping, with transaction pairs for GBP, USD, and EUR. To offset their collaboration, the two projects have unveiled a number of campaigns to encourage adoption. This includes a limited-time incentivized campaign for Blockchain.com users to receive an extra $5 USD of Toncoin when they buy $20 USD of Toncoin on the platform.
