In a groundbreaking move, SURREAL Events and Streaming Global have inked a strategic 3-year agreement, setting the stage for a new era in metaverse experiences. Their collaboration aims to deliver cutting-edge GPU Multitenancy, real-time pixel-streaming, and remote-rendering capabilities to users of SURREAL XP.

The metaverse landscape faces a significant hurdle in efficiently scaling cloud infrastructure for seamless experiences and spatial commerce. High-fidelity, low-latency platforms like SURREAL XP currently rely on the WebRTC protocol for pixel-streaming, equating to one GPU per concurrent user. However, SURREAL, in partnership with Streaming Global, is transforming the game by introducing multitenancy to the GPU, amplifying the current capacity by a staggering nine times. This means higher capacity, lower rates, and unparalleled fidelity for users.
