- The release of the Shibarium Beta has finally been set for this week.
- The team has, however, cautioned investors on potential scams using fake Shibarium tokens.
The much anticipated Shibarium Beta is finally set to be released this week according to the Shiba Inu team. This means the Shibarium Document that contains all the necessary details would be released in the coming days.
Attention #SHIBARMY 🚨
We’re thrilled to announce that #SHIBARIUM Public Beta will be launching THIS WEEK! 🎉
Make sure you’re following our official socials over the next few days as we reveal all the details on how to access the beta website. Hail Shib! #ShibariumBeta.
It can be recalled that Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu launched a new website and a Twitter account for Shibarium on February 27, and also created a Shibarium intake form for those interested in collaborating with SHIB. The idea was to reach more professional companies to find a preferred candidate as a validator for the Layer 2 Solution. Interestingly, several projects ready to build on the Shibarium have since contacted the SHIB team.
LucieSHIB, the Shiba Inu Twitter community account estimates that more than 3,000 Shibarium intake forms have been submitted. It is also important to note that the project will be a public Beta. This means everyone can have access to build on and try Shibarium. According to Kusama, the community members must conduct extensive research before getting involved with any project since anyone can build on Shibarium.
Kusama warns about fake Shiba Inu projects
Last week, Kusama disclosed that tokens available at the beta stage are only meant for testing purposes. For this reason, investors must refrain from investing in this project until after the launch of the mainet.
Don’t get scammed and buy anything you’ll find on Shibarium until the Shibarium main net launch.
Last month, scammers created a fake Shibarium token after earlier coming up with a fake Blur token. This was disclosed by blockchain security resource, PeckShield.
#PeckShieldAlert Scammers pretend as @blur_io Deployer to deploy fake $Blur and airdrop to Coinbase, Justinsun, and Yuga Labs, in an attempt to trick folks into thinking it’s the official #Blur #Airdrop. After removing liquidity, they created a fake $SHIBARIUM. Be alert! #DOGE.
For this reason, Kusama disclosed that he will no longer follow potential Shibarium projects. Kaal Dhairya, a developer associated with Shiba Inu has also clarified that ShibaSwap will be the only officially recognized decentralized exchange on the Shibarium network. While addressing the SHIB community, Dhairya drew their attention to potentially fraudulent schemes perpetrated by scammers to use the Shiba Inu for their gains.
Shiba Inu Governance token and the native gas token of Shibarium, Bone ShibaSwap has reacted heavily to this announcement with more than a 10 percent surge in the last 24 hours. The asset recorded a 24-hour trading volume of 34 million and is currently trading at $1.69.

Shiba Inu on the other hand remains bearish with a 24-hour fall of 3 percent and a current price of $0.000011. The possibility of the asset “killing” three more zeros to hit $0.01 in the short term is very unlikely as investors are still reluctant to jump on it. This is, however, possible in the long term.
