A Spanish rehabilitation center has added another addiction to the list of issues against which it provides services. The new addiction is the habit-causing problem of crypto trading.

The establishment is a Switzerland-oriented wellness center, called the Balance, with its main office of management in Mallorca’s Spanish Island in addition to other units in London and Zurich. Recently, the platform began offering services for preventing crypto trading addiction.

The luxury rehabilitation center in Spain has been treating addictions like alcohol, drugs, and behavioral health for a long time. However, recently, it has offered services that are focussed on battling crypto trading addiction.

The February 5th report described that one of the center’s customers contacted them for treating crypto addiction after allegedly investing approximately $200,000 worth of trades every week. The treatment comprises a four-week stay that involves therapy, massages, and yoga. The bill can be estimated to reach over $75,000.

Castle Craig Hospital in Peeblesshire, the Scottish Borders, has introduced a course of residential treatment for those who can be deemed as crypto addicts. According to a therapist at Castle Craig Hospital, the massive risk results in the issue of gambling. It offers excitement and an escape from reality, which creates the classic bubble situation.

Castle Craig explained that while there are no numbers to ascertain the crypto addicts, there are more than thirteen million people around the world who are engaged in trading. Therefore, the number of people suffering from gambling issues must be significant.
