Helix Records Unveils Migration to Web3

Helix Records has unveiled a game-changing plan to add all its artists to Web3 through NFTs. Starting next month, the label will release a Genesis Pass that serves as a digital passport that allows its holders to access the Helix ecosystem.

Holders of the pass will also have access to free music NFTs from some of its top artists, and later on, they will unlock VIP tickets and backstage passes. Interestingly, the NFTs will also allow holders to directly submit music to the label for feedback, and one lucky holder will have the chance to meet platform founder, Patrick Moxey, for a one-on-one conversation.

Helix has partnered with FUEL, a software company, to onboard its entire roster of artists to Web3. FUEL is dubbed “Shopify for NFTs,” and allows artists and labels to create their own NFT storefront and control their branding.

According to Thanh Binh Tran, founder of FUEL, the collaboration offers a glimpse at “the future of music NFTs.”

Helix Records To Support Its Artists As They Move To Web3

After onboarding its artists, Helix plans to support them as they transition to Web3 through NFTs and blockchain technology. The label believes there is potential for these artists to create closer relationships with their fans, who, in turn will also have a chance of benefiting from the success of their favorite artists.

Additionally, the label hopes to use NFT data to gain insight into an artist’s fan base. This will allow them “to identify and connect with the biggest and most active community members.”
