NITI Aayog’s Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) has come out with the first-of-its-kind Blockchain Module, the ATL Blockchain Module, in partnership with 5ire and Network Capital.
This innovative technology will revolutionise the way businesses and individuals interact and transact, providing a secure and decentralised platform for data storage and transfer.
The ATL Blockchain Module was launched on January 23, 2023 and marks a significant step forward in the digital transformation of India.
5ire, as one of the world’s fastest-growing Blockchain unicorns, has lent its technical expertise and knowledge in the writing of module. Network Capital as the world’s largest mentorship and career exploration platform has enabled the curation and conceptualization of the module. 5ire bought a stake in Network Capital In September 2022.
On the occasion of the ATL Blockchain Module launch, Chintan Vaishnav, mission director, Atal Innovation Mission, emphasised the importance of ‘practical innovation’ and the need for using Blockchain technology to lead social change.
AIM is Government of India’s flagship initiative to create and promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship across India. Its objectives are to develop new programmes and policies for fostering innovation in different sectors of the economy, provide platforms and collaboration opportunities for different stakeholders, and create an umbrella structure to oversee the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem of the country.
More than 10,000-plus schools across India have set up Atal Tinkering Labs under the aegis of AIM. The objective of this scheme is to foster curiosity, creativity, and imagination in young minds; and inculcate skills, such as design thinking, computational thinking, adaptive learning, physical computing etc.
Square Yards Unveils Real Estate Metaverse
Square Yards, India’s largest prop-tech platform, has announced the launch of its real estate metaverse. It is a fully immersive and interactive ‘real world’ like environment that allows users to explore real estate on a digital twin of an entire city, along with visualising the neighbourhoods in a 3D-built environment and walk in as an avatar while interacting within a collaborative marketplace.
According to the statement shared by Square Yards, they have been granted multiple global patents on immersive, virtual and collaborative experiences in real estate, and it is working with global real estate developers to bring their project twins on its metaverse.
